Albert Dock, Liverpool

The Albert Dock located in Liverpool is one of my favourite go to locations. I usually go there for a walk & to read, however, on the docks there is so much to do, to see & to eat! The Albert Docks is a must see area, every time you visit it will leave you feeling so mesmerised you want to go back.

Things to do there…

Here listed below are some of the many things you can do/visit on Liverpools' docks…

(some data obtained from Trip Advisor)

𓊝 Merseyside Maritime…here you will be able to learn & explore the history of the great port of Liverpool for free! Located in the museum will be an amazing variety of displays, media & people's personal stories

𓊝 International slavery museum… here you will dive into the past and learn about those who were taken into slavery in the transatlantic slave trade (between 1500-1865). Due to Liverpools' port playing such a big role in slavery it is almost crazy to learn about it there!

𓊝 Tate Art Gallery... is a free place to view a collection of modern art & contemporary art. There is always something new to see with frequent display changes. They have a range of sculptures, paintings & drawings. They have a beautiful cafe located inside the building as well as a shop. The Tate will offer a great day out for families & group trips.

𓊝 The Beatles story… This exhibition is solely devoted to the world-famous band the Beatles and their story, the audio guides are available in fourteen different languages so it is assessable to many people

𓊝 Escape hunt… In teams of 2-6, Escape Hunt features 5-star rated rooms in which you and your friends will have to work together against the clock to escape. This is a great experience and good for families, group events, night outs, & staff parties.

Not to mention the impeccable foods & drinks. The Alert Docks is also home to some of the nicest bars, restaurants & cafes. So whether you are having a wild night out or a chill day there is always something suitable for you!
