F*#k it, just do it!
Easier said than done. Right? I know guys it can be hard to take that leap, but hard does not mean impossible. There are many reasons why we have a fear of pursuing dreams and in this branch blog, we determine some of those reasons.
Fear of judgment. I have talked about this in a few of my branch blogs and it is a big factor, of course, it is… and that is okay. We are human and we have emotions, we are naturally going to allow ourselves to be impacted by what other people think and say about us. However, this is your life and it’s your story and as hard as it is, you must try to let yourself strive for the happiness you deserve and if your goals come across as ‘cringey’ or ‘laughable’ to some people then so be it!
They seem unattainable. I completely understand how it can feel when you start to believe your dreams are too big. I mean I’m an aspiring actress. I get it! Yes, your goal may MAY seem unachievable, but I promise you now you can do it. Try to set yourself little goals and take small steps, to begin with. If you give up now, I guarantee you will regret it later.
Surround yourself with supportive friends. I love the friends I have now, they support me and I will always support them. And that is the way it should be, if the people you surround yourself with put you down or create a negative atmosphere for you then you should question if they are your friends and if they do have your best interests at heart. The moment you surround yourself with the right people you will start to radiate that great energy.
Hung up on the past. Perhaps a failure in the past has put you off and that is now giving you the recurring fear of history repeating itself, and this can be with anything from an interview to a relationship. Well, guys everything happens for a reason. I couldn’t be happier for the negative relationships I have lost, obviously at the time it did not feel this way… I cannot begin to tell you how grateful I am now.
