A girl’s night in
Now this branch blog is far from ‘a girls' guide to a night in’ because this night was unexpected and we completely made it up as we went along!
The evening started when I went to my lifelong gal pal Niamh's house. We were just having a much-needed catch-up and then she invited two of her other friends. Faye and Ava. They came, and oh my goddess they are the kindest, nicest pair of girls I have met! We all clicked instantly and had let's just say quite a few things in common so we had a good long chat/rant over all of that.
Once we had all gotten hungry we felt a bit too creative to just order a take away so we went on a little late-night trip to the big Tesco. We decided (when I say we I really mean our chef Faye) to make a homemade garlic bread and a carbonara dish… of course, the fussy eater in me decided to have pasta in a tomato and basil sauce. On the drive, Niamh was on AUX and she did not disappoint now we had plenty of JLS on, as I am a loyal jlster when the one direction songs came on I tried to resist singing along… I couldn't! Fayes’ cooking did not disappoint our girl went to town on the seasoning and it was delicious.
As the night was coming to an end we decided to make hot chocolates, we had all the ingredients except the cocoa powder… so Ava took us on another drive to obtain some. Andddd the award for the tastiest hot chocolate goes to… us! Yeah. It was that good…
