New year new you, right? Well maybe so, but this blog is designed to be all about how to make sure your resolutions are healthy for you. It can be so stressful to come up with a resolution each year and even harder to hear others' resolutions that seem unattainable. However, don't let this stop you in your tracks or pressure you into making unattainable goals for yourself.
First things first, are your goals achievable for you? Try to make sure that your targets are as achievable as possible, as this will make it more likely for you to stick with them. For example, if you have a weight loss goal, you should be absolutely certain that you are doing it in a way that is healthy and reasonable. If it isn’t you may find yourself being “put off” or dismissing your goal altogether. I also think that it is important to make sure you are doing it for yourself and nobody else. You are absolutely beautiful as you are and you do not have to change for anybody. EVER, however, if it is for the greater benefit of your mental and physical well-being, by all means, go for it!
Another thing I would say is… you do not have to have a resolution and you also shouldn’t feel pressured when you hear other people's too! As I said we are all at different stages in our lives and resolutions can be specific to other people. Therefore, never feel guilty for having one that isn't as extreme as someone else's.
2023 is a new year! It is a time for new beginnings, so we can start a fresh, put old things behind us, and move on. Carry on into this new year with people who love you, care for you, and are there to support your dreams & cheer you on! Leave those who hold you back or spread negative energy in 2022. There's no room for them in our new year… This year is about you & making yourself happy. This is the year we are going to achieve all our goals and all our dedicated work is going to continue and pay off!
So here is to 2023… This is our year my loves!
