The zoo reunion and Club essentials
Now, I am too young to have experienced ‘Zoo’ the first time around, so when I heard about the reunion, I just knew I had to be there. The event was pulled off by, in my opinion (and I am sure many others), Liverpool’s two best DJs, Zeke and Tizzle. They started the event with a vision to take people back in time to the ‘Zoo days', and they sure did deliver.
The event started at 10:00 and was on until late. I arrived at 11:00, and already the venue seemed to be packed. There was a wide variety of people, both older and younger, yet everybody danced together.
The great thing about Zeke and Tizzle working together is their bond; you can almost feel their connection and chemistry through the music. It’s pure good vibes all over. The best thing about the pair is their ability to interact with the crowd; they know how to read them and pick up on their energy. If you guys want an unforgettable night out, then one of their events is the place to be.
I heard about the event prior on social media, and yet I left it until the night before to panic about my outfit. In the end, I opted for ZARA black shorts, ZARA black body suit, and black heels. Everyone looked fabulous. It was so lovely to see everybody in their element and having fun.
Here are my top night-out essentials:
A spare pair of compact, comfortable shoes (I have a little folding pair in my handbag)
Spare charger… There’s nothing worse than your phone dying on a night out.
Mini make-up, just for top-ups... Of course, you do not need to wear make-up to be beautiful; however, it is always nice to be able to have a quick fix-up. It’s always good to carry a bold lipstick; it’s perfect for making a subtle statement.
Perfume is my favourite, as myself and my gal pals always ask for each others. A spritz of your favourite perfume will leave a lasting impression wherever you go!
Your purse containing money, ID, and your bank card.
A positive attitude and confidence to ensure a natural radiant glow from within.
Your favourite heels that make you feel like a queen. Confidence starts from the ground up! (This is why spare shoes are essential; sometimes your favourite shoes are the most painful.)
I always find it handy to carry a compact mirror as the ladies’ bathroom is always overfilled, with a queue coming out of the door. It’s not worth the wait if you just want a quick check in the mirror.
Mints or chewing gum as you never know who you'll meet ladies! ;)
Have fun on your nights out, and always stay safe… Lots of love always Anaiá !Xx
